Downstairs: The parlor offers a coffee/tea bar, dining table, piano, and desk (high-speed Wi-Fi). The large living area has a leather reclining sofa, large streaming TV, and games (vintage and Xbox). Off the living room is a full bathroom with standing shower. The kitchenette has a microwave, wine chiller, convection over, an induction stovetop, refrigerator, ice maker, slow-cooker, skillet and plenty of kitchen necessities. There is a downstairs bedroom with an adjacent sitting room and full bathroom. This also leads to the large galley kitchen, stocked with appliances and cooking supplies.
Upstairs: The staircase leads to the upstairs foyer, with another coffee/tea bar, 4 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms. Rooms have USB charging stations, mini-frigs microwaves, clothing/hanging racks, and flat-panel HDTVs that stream Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and more.
Enjoy the porches, and large patio with café lighting, firepit and grill. We welcome you to stroll among the tranquil setting on over 8 acres. Spread out on the large lawns or grab a hammock to relax. Walk along the wooded trail, into the woods until you reach the creek. You can take a peak at the original detached kitchen, pole barn, and pump house, dating back to the 18th century. Make yourself at home!

The entire Vaiden Inn portion of the 1781 house is available to rent! With over 3400 square feet of living space; 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, upstairs foyer, downstairs parlor, living room, large galley kitchen and kitchenette.
We had a long weekend stay at the Vaiden Inn and were very impressed with the home, furnishings and grounds. It is a beautiful historic home that has been updated with all the modern conveniences of home. You will love the antiques and décor that are throughout the home. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms spacious. There is complimentary coffee bars on the first and second floors that we’re greatly appreciated. The home is situated in New Kent opposite of other historic buildings and has eight acres. We enjoyed several walks through the woods to the creek. There is a nice outdoor sitting area and fire pit. If you are in the New Kent/Richmond area I highly suggest a stay at the Vaiden Inn.
